Day 1: BELGRADE - NOVI SAD
Welcome the group at the airport in Belgrade. Transfer to Novi Sad. Accommodation in the hotel. Leisure time for individual activities and walking around the city. In the evening walkout to a fish restaurant, and enjoying fish specialties. Overnight.
Day 2: NOVI SAD
Breakfast. Free morning for individual activities. In the afternoon, panoramic city sightseeing: : Roman Catholic Church “Name of Mary“ (Cathedral), Town Hall, Tanurdzic Palace, Bishop's residence with church, house near White Lion (the oldest preserved house in Novi Sad), Danube street, Danube park, Banovina (seat of the Government of AP Vojvodina )… Departure to the Petrovaradin Fortress. The construction of the Petrovaradin Fortress lasted for 88 years (from 1692 to 1780) during the reign of Austrian Emperors Leopold I, Joseph I, Charles IV, Mary Theresa and Joseph II, according to the system of building markiz Sebastian Voban. Tour of the fortress: Clock Tower (trademark of Novi Sad), Bastion (Bastion Emperor Leopold, Bastion Empress Maria Theresa, Bastion Emperor Josef I, Bastion Hornverk), possibility of entry into catacombs, Astronomical Observatory, Planetarium, panorama of Novi Sad. Dinner at the Fortress. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3: NOVI SAD - SREMSKI KARLOVCI - FRUSKOGORSKI MONASTERIES
Breakfast. Departure to Sremski Karlovci. Tour of the Baroque town on the slopes of Fruska Gora: The Patriarchal Palace, the Cathedral Church, Patriarchy Court, the Karlovac Gymnasium, Magistracy, the Four Lions Fountain. Visit to winery, tour and wine tasting. Departure to Fruska gora. Continuation of the road towards Fruska Gora, also called the Serbian Holy Mountain, on which exists sixteen Serbian Orthodox monasteries. This unique cultural and historical unit was declared a cultural asset of exceptional importance. Tour and visit some of the most famous monasteries: Novo Hopovo, Krusedol, Grgeteg, Velika Remeta… Return to Novi Sad. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 4: NOVI SAD - BACKA TOPOLA (ZOBNATICA)
Breakfast. Breakfast. Departure to Backa Topola (Zobnaticu). Arrival in Zobnatica, the center of horse breeding and equestrian sport, which is famous stud farm with tradition education thoroughbred horses of over two hundred years. Tour of the ergela, horse-breeding museum, the possibility horse-drawn carriage ride. Leisure time. Continuation of the road towards Subotica, which lies along the main European corridors and between the Danube and Tisa. Panoramic sightseeing: Main Square, Town Hall, Cathedral Square, Synagogue, Rajhl Palace, Franciscan Church, Cathedral (Great Church), Serbian Orthodox Church, City Museum… After visiting Subotica, continue driving towards Palic, a city known for its architecture, history and culture, and its rich gastronomic offer and lake. City sightseeing: Palic waterfall, Female Strand, Male Stand, Big terrace, Music Pavilion and memorial fountain. Free time for a walk near Palic lake and lunch. After lunch, a tour of the nearby Ludas Lake, the second largest lake in northern Backa. Return to Novi Sad. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 5: NOVI SAD - BELGRADE
Breakfast. Departure to Belgrade. Arriving in the hotel and accommodation. After accommodation in the hotel, city sightseeing: The White Palace, the Museum of Yugoslavia (House of Flowers), the temple of St. Sava, Nikola Tesla Museum, Tasmajdan Park, Republic Square, Knez Mihailova, Bajrakli mosque, Museum of Applied Arts, Ruzica, Ada Ciganlija, Hippodrome, Kalemegdan Fortress, Kalemegdan terrace, Nebojsa Tower. Day 6: BELGRADE - AVALA - TOPOLA (OPLENAC)
Breakfast. After breakfast, going to Avala, a natural complex located 17km from Belgrade. Visiting the monument to the Unknown Hero, located on the territory of the former town of Zrnov. Tour of the Avala Tower - pride of all Belgrade citizens, the most beautiful and most important telecommunication facility in Serbia. Visiting Vidikovac at the top of the Tower. After lunch, the continuation of the road to Topola and Oplenac the historical and memorial complex of the Karadjordjević dynasty. Visit to the Church of Sv. Djordje, in whose crypts are rested members of the Karadjordjevic dynasty. Visit to the winery and free time for individual activities. Return to the hotel. Return to the hotel and preparations for going to the bohemian quarter of Skadarlija on traditional Serbian-citizen's evening. Overnight.
Day 7: BELGRADE
